Ingredients

    Instructions

    1. 1
      Mix the Spice Blend

Combine the smoked paprika, oregano, thyme, salt, and black pepper in a small bowl. Set aside.

    2. 2
      Prep the Potatoes

Wash and cut the russet potatoes into wedges (6–8 per potato). Toss with half the olive oil and half the spice blend until well coated.

    3. 3
      Prep the Chicken

In a separate bowl, toss the cubed chicken with the remaining olive oil and spice blend until evenly coated.

    4. 4
      Load the Speedi

Drop the crisper plate into the bottom of your Ninja Speedi. Keep the pot dry — no liquid needed.

    5. 5
      Cook the Wedges

Arrange the potato wedges in a single layer on the crisper plate. Select Air Fry, set to 390°F, and set the timer for 20 minutes.

    6. 6
      Add the Chicken

After 10 minutes, open the lid and shake to flip the potatoes. Add the seasoned chicken cubes on top of and around the potatoes. Close the lid and finish the remaining 10 minutes.

    7. 7
      Check & Serve

Confirm the chicken has reached an internal temperature of 165°F and the potatoes are fork-tender and golden. Finish with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice if desired.

    Notes

For thicker wedges, add 3–5 minutes to the initial cook time before adding the chicken. Start checking on the chicken at 7 minutes rather than waiting the full 10.

Overall simple recipe, prep is quick and spread out — cubing chicken while the wedges start cooking. The flavoring is simple enough for kids but good enough for adults. The air fryer got pretty caked on and several pans and a cutting board were dirtied in the process. I would leave the potatoes in for the full 10 minutes then start checking on the chicken at 7 mins.
